…For He cares for you

1Peter 5:7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

Life has its own pressures and necessities, needs that are legal and should be met – we always have one thing or the other to get, a target to meet, a goal to achieve.

In the midst of all of these, we mustn’t get overwhelmed till it starts to get into our heads and cause ungodly stirrings of worry.

Worry is not and has never been God’s plan for his people, he wants to meet needs, and he does that well, we must learn to trust him on that.

Jesus helps us understand that the father is not unaware of our needs, he is not blind to our lives.

Matthew 6:31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
6:32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.

In that same discussion ,Jesus actually used the phrase “take no thought” thrice, he emphasized it so much that you would be going against his word to actually take thoughts on these needs. Take no thought implies DO NOT WORRY on these things.

The father gives to us, he is father, a giving God, the multi-breasted one.

What’s that Care? Rent? Health? Bills? A relative?

What’s capable of causing that anxiety? You will need to do away with worry and stick to casting all cares on him, let him do the caring, don’t be proud. Worry is to exalt logic above God’s word and way, it ends up resting on the arm of flesh and ignoring God’s help.

Philippians 4:6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

Be careful for nothing, its an instruction! Let nothing unsettle you, be at rest. Then he goes ahead to tell you to ask and receive in the place of prayer.

Whatever can cause anxiety should cause you to pray. Choose God over worry, trust in his word and act on it.

Mark 11:23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

YOU CAN HAVE WHAT YOU SAY! So, give direction to the power of God with your words, You are to talk to the mountain to get lost, not to rant about the mountain. Talking about the mountain gets nothing done, speak to it.

Mark 11:24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

YOU CAN HAVE WHAT YOU PRAY!
The prayer of faith receives, no doubts, just a heart that trust God’s word over experiences and human failings, just a heart that believes ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE.

Today, rather than worry and start to get perturbed, disturbed and unsettled, why not walk away from the flesh and act on God’s word, believing that you receive that which you ask, and standing in faith on the word.

Say: No fear here, no worries, I harvest possibilities as I cast my cares on the faithful God.

Have a day full of miracles.
