Supernatural possibilities (3)

Lk. 1:37;
37 For with God nothing shall be impossible.

With God, no spoken word shall be impossible. We have earlier seen that miracles are fundamental to the Christian faith. You can’t claim to be a Christian and not believe in miracles. Right from the creation of the world, we see a creative miracle. Moses performed miracles at will. The incarnation, God becoming man, is a miracle.

Read Jn. 1:1-14;
John says, ‘we saw the glory of God physically’. The incarnation is not a fable.

Jesus, while he was on earth, wrought many miracles. If he did that many miracles, that shows us that God is a God of miracles because Jesus is the perfect explanation of the Father. (Jn. 1:18; Col. 1:15; Heb. 1:1-3).

There are supernatural possibilities in God. Miracles are what we have in the Christian faith.

It’s important to note that a miracle is not magic.

Observe, in Lk. 1:30-31, the angel did not tell Mary that she had conceived. He said, ‘you will conceive’. The information preceded the action. That shows us she had a role to play. Anyone who will receive a miracle has a role to play. Miracles don’t just happen, you make them happen. Sometimes, miracles take the normal course of nature, just with a tweak, a supernatural hand. Whatever God will do, information precedes it, because God works by his word.

Men who receive miracles are those who believe them. That’s why Jesus spent more time teaching them (Mk. 6:1-6). He couldn’t do much among them because of their unbelief. Sometimes, the delay in God’s power working is actually a delay in men receiving it.

God is still in the business of meeting needs. How does he do this? By sending men our way. Thus, sometimes, a delay in the miracle could be a delay in the man’s obedience. Regardless, you ought to deliberately walk in God’s supernatural provision.

Sickness can be healed by the power of God.

Acts 10:38;
38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.

Jesus healed the sick. Sicknesses can be healed by the power. Thus, if you are sick in your body, you ought to believe God for healing. Much more, you can heal the sick too. It is a possibility that when you lay your hand on the sick, they recover. Remember, with God, nothing shall be impossible.
